"On a tiny island north of France
Where it seems to always rain
Are a people who once ruled the world
And still think they do today...
Tea and beer is all they drink
And everywhere they queue
They’re too health and safety conscious
And expect the same of you
To those of you not Anglicised
Here’s a phrase that I’ve devised
It’s not wrong, it’s just different
So do your best to cope
If we love the Brits for who they are
Then I think there’s hope
“Sorry!” is their most used word
You’ll hear it everywhere
But the thing you may hear more than that
Is drunken people swear
In social situationsThey’re not the most direct
"Bless ‘em" they do try their best
So I mean no disrespect
Whether here for years or just arrived
This phrase may help you to survive
It’s not wrong, it’s just different
So do your best to cope
If we love the Brits for who they are
Then I think there’s hope
I wouldn’t want to lead astray
So to end I’d like to say
Cheers to you, Great Britain
You’ve listened to me moan
You’re country isn’t perfect
But neither is my own"

Hej!
